With the help of Renew Newcastle, Surfhouse Photography was able to released into the retail and business world. We started as a small shop front next Sanity in Hunter St Mall, with all the added exposure and overwhelming interest we decided to expand. So when our lease expired with Renew Newcastle it was perfect timing and only seemed fit to continue Surfhouse Photography in the Hunter St area.

On December 8th 2009, Surfhouse Photography reopened in its new premises of 61 HUNTER ST, opposite Newcastle old sandstone post office and the Lock up gallery. With a new shop Surfhouse Photography was able to expand into new and original products such as large framed canvas prints, fridge magnets, greeting cards, jewelery, T-shirts and clothing , bags and the beginnings of a surf OP shop selling second hand surfboards.
